Busines Development Manager
The Business Development Manager (BDM) role is responsible for business customers acquisition. This high activity target bearing role is primarily focused on identifying businesses prospects (lead generation) from a nominated territory and converting them to customers.
Prospect generation will come from engaging with customers directly via door knocking, calls and emails, and working with the landlords and building managers of properties and business centres. The role is field based (90%+) and the BDM will act with the utmost integrity and professionalism, helping to delight customers and increase brand awareness.

Sales performance
Deliver new customer sales in line with monthly targets
Take ownership of work and always look for opportunities to exceed targets
Demonstrate a structured approach to sales, maximising every opportunity
Demonstrate thorough fact-finds, ensuring customer needs have been met
Able to negotiate and manage objections to secure successful outcomes
Manage territory effectively
High activity to ensure a steady intake of new opportunities
Relationship management
Build strong relationship with both potential and existing customers
Act as a brand ambassador and trusted advisor
Work closely with internal stakeholders and the Sales Wayleave team in order to build relationships with landlords, property managersand freeholders
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the service delivery process is completed
Engagement
Engage with all relevant stakeholders
Identify and raise any potential issue or threat before it escalates
Proactively suggest improvements that can help drive sales results
Engage with businesses to raise awareness of the Hyperoptic brand
