Senior Vendor Manager – Zurich

Datapol require a Senior Vendor Manager to work for our client based in Zurich.

Responsibilities
• Plan, manage and ensure adherence of the IT budget (Capex and Opex)
• Plan and lead Capex and Opex board
• Manage all activities with the external partners and vendors (contract negotiations, project deliveries, audits, reviews) and actively solve issues
• Problem fixing within defined SLA’s
• Act as an internal contact for project and line managers
• Define KPI’s and SLA’s in cooperation with project teams, business SPOC’s and operations
• Maintain the relationship with external partners and vendors
• Agree and discuss any activities referring to evolution and roadmaps of external partners vendors
• Manage licenses, including sourcing, monitoring usage, optimising portfolio and ensuring compliance
• Keep track of support and maintenance renewals
• Renewing support and maintenance contracts with optimum SLA’s and costs
• Project and change request delivery of external partners and vendors on time, within budget and to agreed quality

Experience
• Education: University Degree (e.g. MSc) or equivalent
• Solid professional track record in IT with at least 3 years management experience in project or line management
• Experience in Vendor Management
• Experience in Budget Management
• Experience in License Management
• Good knowledge in development and quality assurance standards and processes
• Experience with external solution and/or service providers
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent knowledge of metrics (KPI’s and SLA’s definitions)
• Knowledge in Contract management
• Good understanding of software and infrastructure architecture
• Fluent in English
